| notes | Must be used in conjunction with the 'County' variable (COEBM) to select the correct districts as the codes are repeated. From 1991 onwards usual residence codes are OGSS codes, not STATS or CENSUS codes (See article on 'LS event data capture', LS Newsletter, No. 14, June 1996, pp. 2-4) This new field will be introduced from 1 April 1996 allowing OGSS files to be used to recode 1995 and subsequent year events, to new 1996 and subsequent year boundaries - ie to allow events to be coded forward one year to areas in place at the time of the annual outputs eg 1996 data to 1997 areas. |
