If age of mother is stated, or imputed because date of mother is not stated, age at marriage is calculated by subtracting duration of marriage from age at maternity 1990 onwards: 11+ = age at marriage, 15+ if mother's birthplace is UK Spaces = birth outside marriage Calculated using date of birth of mother and date of marriage. If age of mother is stated, or imputed because year of birth of mother is not stated, age at marriage is calculated by subtracting duration of marriage from age at maternity. |
