| notes | Not available for analysis. The 1971 Census NHSCR date of birth discrepancies were matched on LS number & transferred to the appropriate record & field. The same procedure was adopted for the 1981 Census NHSCR DOB discrepancy file. If the core record did not already contain a NHSCRDOB field, the NHSCRDOB on the input 1981 discrepancy DOB file was transferred to the core record. If the core record already held an NHSCRDOB field, a check was made to see if it was the same date of birth. If it was, no further action taken. If it was not the same, the input record & the core record NHSCRDOB were listed for clerical investigation. |
